Taking place during Art Basel week, Africa Basel will take centre stage in the heart of the city, offering an array of works that celebrate Africa’s dynamic and diverse art scene.
Founded by art fair entrepreneur Sven Eisenhut-Hug and creative visionary Benjamin Füglister, Africa Basel will run from the 16th to the 22nd of June 2025.
The fair's curatorial team consists of Azu Nwagbogu, Michèle Sandoz, Serge Tiroche, and Greer Valley, four experts in African and Afro-diasporic art. In selecting galleries, the board prioritises a balanced representation of both established and emerging galleries, reflecting the diversity that defines African art today.
